Errors on our website
Despite our best efforts, there may be instances when information about a Product contains inaccurate or incomplete data, including data about the Product's price or availability. We make no warranty or guarantee that the information on our website is error-free, complete, or current. We reserve the right to correct errors and/or update the content on our website at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order containing any error or inaccuracy, including after the order has been submitted, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your order is canceled after your payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund to the original pay type.
Foreign Orders:
It is our company policy not to sell or ship products outside the UK.

We provide our website and its contents on an 'AS IS' basis and make no warranty or representation regarding any Product, either express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, which are hereby expressly disclaimed, unless otherwise stated herein.
Goods Price
The price listed on the website for our products will be stipulated at the time when you place your order on the website. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers prices, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission or if the price on the website is wrong.

VAT
All orders placed in the UK are subject to VAT (Value Added Tax). VAT is included in our prices at the standard set rate of 20% with the exception of Riser Recliner Chairs and Adjustable Beds which are Vat zero rated and therefore shown excluding Vat. To avoid Vat being added to your order (Riser Recliner Chairs and Adjustable Beds only) you must complete and return to The Recliner Store a Vat exemption form which we will issue when you place your order.
The Recliner Store reserves the right not to process an order we feel may be Suspicious or Fraudulent.
An Email Confirmation or Order Number given over the telephone does not constitute the order has been processed or that a contract has been formed with The Recliner Store, until we have reviewed the payment Worldpay’s Fraud Prevention Software.
No contract is made with you until we have dispatched your order
Warranty
Because we supply recliners manufactured by a wide range of companies, the length of individual warranties on our recliners varies a great deal. However all our recliners come with a minimum 12 month warranty.
Warranty Issues
If during the warranty period your chair should develop a problem we require photographs of the fault which you may email to us along with a description at info@thereclinerstore.co.uk. Alternatively you may post them to us with an accompanying letter specifying the details. Which ever method you choose we will require an invoice number from you as proof of purchase.
If after the warranty period has expired and a fault develops, parts can usually be sent direct from the manufacturer.
If it should become necessary to return the product to the factory for repairs, the cost of packing and shipping to and from the factory is not covered in the warranty. Most repairs can be made in your home. Evidence of original ownership such as a sales invoice or other document will be required.
The warranty shall not apply to any condition or defect resulting from misusage, negligence, alterations, fire or accident.
Returns Policy
PLEASE NOTE: WE RECOMMEND YOU RETAIN THE ORIGINAL PACKING/BOXES THAT YOUR CHAIR ARRIVED IN FOR AT LEAST THE SPECIFIED 7 DAY RETURNS PERIOD. WE CANNOT ACCEPT A RETURN, WHATEVER THE REASON, IF THE CHAIR IS NOT SAFELY AND SECURELY PACKAGED
If you are not satisfied with any purchase from The Recliner Store, you may return any products back to us within 7 working days of receipt providing that:
- You have notified us within 72 Hours from the day of delivery
- The product is in a resalable condition
- This means that the product is not damaged
- The product has not been used in any way
- And that the product is complete with the original pristine condition packing
- SWIVEL RECLINERS CANNOT BE RETURNED ONCE ASSEMBLED
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
7 Day Money Back Guarantee
The Recliner Store takes great care to ensure that all information and details are correct on our website. That being said, we know it can be difficult to purchase a recliner chair without sitting in it first. To help reassure you of your purchase we offer the following guarantee:
"If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason at all you may, within 7 days after the date of delivery, return your goods to us.
As long as we are notified by post, telephone or email within 72 Hours from the day of delivery, we will be happy to: either send replacement parts if your chair is damaged, send a brand new chair (subject to availability), or issue a full refund."
Subject to the following conditions:
- Where you, the customer, has paid a surcharge for a specified delivery service (i.e. Saturday Morning), we will only refund the full amount for the chair, not including the delivery surcharge
- All orders that have been placed specifically for a customer or 'specially made to order' can only be cancelled within 48 hours of the order being processed by us. Cancellation will not be accepted once goods have been reserved, stored, cut or dispatched by The Recliner Store, or by our suppliers. Orders are only accepted on this basis
- Where the customer has paid a delivery surcharge for off-shore deliveries, the delivery surcharge will apply to returns back to us on top of the standard return charges
- It is the responsibility of the customer to have the goods ready for return 'As New', and in the original packaging
- As we offer Free UK Mainland Delivery, it is the customer's responsibility to pay for and organize the return of the product to The Recliner Store
- All monies relating to the returned goods will be refunded within 30 days of receipt of the goods by us, provided that they are in the 'Same' condition that they were in at the time of delivery
- If no notification by telephone, email or in writing has been received by The Recliner Store within 72 Hours from the day of delivery, you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods
- PLEASE NOTE: As the Swivel Recliners are part polished wood, during assembly pressure marks can occur on the wooden legs when the recliner is being assembled. We CANNOT accept returns for Swivel Recliners once they've been assembled, if they show signs of damage. Returns WILL be accepted if the product is faulty
Easy Returns
In the unlikely event that you wish to return your goods, please read the following guidelines to ensure everything runs smoothly as possible.
- Notify us by post, telephone or email within 72 Hours from the day of delivery that you wish to return the goods.
- Keep all original packaging and boxes the item was delivered in, as the goods will require repacking for the return journey
Please ensure the items are safely and securely wrapped
- Collections are made by 1 person; some of the recliners are very heavy, so an extra pair of hands may be needed to help the driver onto the van with the box/boxes
- As we offer totally Free UK Mainland Delivery, it is the customer's responsibility to cover the charge for the carriage back to us.
- We do not charge a re-stocking fee
Delivery Information
The Recliner Store offers a nationwide delivery service for all our recliners. Delivery is usually included in the price, unless otherwise clearly stated.
Please Note: Courier Delivery Service
Please be aware that this delivery is only to the outside of the property.
It is up to you (The Customer) to make sure that you have the capability and access to accept the delivery yourself.
We always recommend someone else be on hand to assist with the delivery.
If you chose this delivery option, most of the goods will need unpacking and in some cases assembling. All tools for assembly are usually included in the boxes.
No claims will be accepted for inconvenience, loss etc caused by unexpected or unavoidable delays in delivery.
Delivery Times
99% of the products you see on our website are available for Next Working Day Delivery.
Whilst we update the site daily, sometimes the delivery times can be extended beyond our control. We have many customers who buy in bulk, and sometimes there can be a slight overlapping of orders, as occasionally some products sell out overnight. If for any reason this does happen, we will inform you immediately, and offer you an alternative, or a full refund.
All delivery dates and times quoted are approximate due to us using outside courier companies.
Whilst every practical effort will be made to accommodate customer’s requirements no guarantee of time can be given.
Order Cancellations
If a customer orders a product and then cancels pre-delivery a 5% administration fee will be deducted from the refund (To a Maximum of £45). As paperwork will have been created and stock allocated the 5% fee is to cover the time incurred in raising and then canceling an order.
Specifications/Dimensions
Whilst most products are made from identically machined components to a standard specification, individual hand upholstering may vary slightly from different tradesmen.
All dimensions are therefore approximate. Due to a policy of continuous improvement, manufacturers reserve the right to modify designs, specifications and materials without prior notification.
Health & Safety
(Electric Riser Recliner Chairs).
When using the chair in the lift or recline position ensure that children and pets are kept away from the chair. The chair will stop immediately if you take your fingers off the hand control.
To avoid accidents with children and pets whilst the chair is unsupervised, we recommend that the power supply be disconnected when the chair is not in use.
When the footrest is in the open position ensure that no unnecessary downward force is applied, to prevent damage to the scissor action. Always keep the chair away from the wall to avoid the back hitting the wall and causing damage to the motor.
We recommend all electric products are switched of at the mains when not in use.
Colours
Sample cuttings, swatches and on screen colours are approximate and can vary within normal commercial tolerances. Colour variations are unavoidable from one dye batch to another. Exact matching cannot be guaranteed from different batches, different widths or if ordered at different times. Colours change dramatically under different lighting conditions.
Title
Whilst the risk in the goods shall pass to the purchaser on delivery the title to the goods shall not pass to the purchaser until full payment of the purchase price has been received by The Recliner Store. and clearance of all cheques and/or credit card payments obtained.
Damages
In no event shall The Recliner Store, its subsidiaries or affiliates, or their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives or agents be liable for special, incidental, consequential, punitive, indirect, or other special damages, including but not limited to, loss of data, use, or profits, however caused, whether for breach of contract, negligence, or otherwise, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of any such damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed and construed by the laws of the UK without regard to its conflict of law rules. You agree that if any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder of these terms will remain in full force and effect.
